State comments due at the end of February 2021 on a draft treaty on Business and Human Rights

IILA is pleased to present a short report on next steps in the UN Working Group process to develop a legally binding instrument to regulate the activities of transnational corporations by reference to international human rights law, the key stakes (especially for small / developing States), and how IILA can support small / developing States in this process. This report was prepared in conjunction with Elena Marchenko of the New York City Bar Association’s Working Group on Business and Human Rights.

Should you require any further details or wish to discuss how IILA can help your government to engage with these substantive and procedural issues,  please do not hesitate to write to us at info@independentILA.org.
